1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website or submitting a consultation request to Mariposa Menopause Specialists (“Mariposa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Not Medical Advice

The information on this website is provided for general education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a physician–patient relationship. Treatment decisions, including whether hormone therapy or any medication is appropriate for you, are made with your clinician after a full evaluation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

3. Consultation Requests

Submitting a consultation request is a request for an appointment, not a confirmed booking and not a commitment to treatment. We will contact you using the details you provide to answer questions and schedule your visit. Pricing shown on this site, including the $299 initial consultation with lab work included, is current at the time of publication and may change; the price in effect on the day of your visit applies.

4. Communications Consent

By submitting your phone number and email address, you agree that Mariposa may contact you by phone, text message, and email about your request and your care. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message.

5. Our SMS Program

Our SMS program provides appointment reminders, confirmations, and replies to your inquiries to help you stay organized and on schedule. You can expect messages regarding upcoming appointments and confirmations of scheduled visits.

Cancelling the service. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to the number that messaged you. After you send STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially.

Getting help. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@mariposamenopause.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

6. Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the website, submit false or misleading information, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it through automated means other than ordinary search engines. All content, including text, images, and the Mariposa name and logo, is owned by Mariposa or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mariposa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and revise the effective date at the top.
